5 reasons you shouldn't give up today

So you work at a job that doesn't pay you enough to be insulted by your boss one more time. Or maybe you can afford one more questionable remark and maaaybe your boss isn't even that bad, but your job certainly doesn't even remotely relate to what you want to do for the rest of your life. So every morning you give yourself your best pep talk

You got this baby!

Your professor starts the semester by "bragging" that he likes to give trick questions on exams.

THE DEVIL!
Your family is in utter and complete shambles and you were even once caught questioning your bloodline.

Busy? Busy is what you were in high school. Now you are almost completely sure 24 just isn't enough hours in a day.

Can't be.
Ok so maybe the odds are stacked against you. This Christian walk isn't as sweet as you thought it might be. And maaaybe you've even secretly grown bitter toward the person who introduced you to Christ in the first place.

You probably can't relate to all of these and if you can well hey,

But you might be able to relate to at least one...which is probably why you're reading this.  If so, there's a lot stacked against you and if you feel like quitting...I don't even blame you.

But let's be honest...where would quitting get you? Jobless? Broke? Regretful? Outside of God's will.

Pressing through with the help of God's supernatural strength however, is very rewarding. And here's why I think you should give it a try.

1. The best is yet to come.

God's word says that you literally cannot even imagine what he has prepared for you.

2. You could've given up a longggg time ago.

But you didn't.

Going through tough situations isn't new to you. You were born to overcome.

3. The grass over there will always be greener.

Maybe quitting your job seems like a really legit idea right now. Maybe you know someone who knows someone who quit their job to start a business doing something they love and now they are totally successful. You even confirmed it by stalking their Instagram. It was true.

But that's them. Not saying you don't deserve to be happy (and rich!) just saying God's will for their life is not His will for yours. You don't know what they are dealing with and you don't have to abandon your yard to get all the way over there, only to realize

4. You're really, really awesome.

Contrary to your situation, you are doing just fine. In Phillipians, Paul said he learned to be content in any situation, whether lacking or in abundance. Plus, you're really good at things. You are a light in your workplace, a cornerstone in your family and a role model to the younger generation.

And you have great skills. (I blogged about how to channel you great skills here.)

5. And most importantly.
